UP Manila-TTBDO Investing and Effective Pitching

The University of the Philippines Manila Technology Transfer and Business Development Office (UPM-TTBDO) will hold its Investing and Effective Pitching event. Join us for a dynamic lecture and workshop designed specifically for innovators, faculty, students, researchers, and staff from UP Manila. This event will quip you with the essential techniques and strategies to craft compelling pitches that captivate your audience and showcase the impact of your ideas.
Whether you are presenting a business idea, seeking investment, or promoting a project, mastering the art of pitching is crucial. This event aims to provide practical insights and hands-on experience to enhance your pitching abilities. Whether you are preparing to present at a conference, seek funding for research projects, or communicate the impact of your work to stakeholders, this workshop will provide you with practical tools and confidence to excel.
What to expect:
• Lecture sessions: Learn to know how to analyze a company, know who the investors are, perform market research and target product profile, know how to pitch your company as an investment opportunity, and contract negotiation. You will also know how to structure your pitch, engage your audience, and convey your message with clarity and conviction.
• Workshop activities: Analyze case studies and participate in interactive workshops where you will have the opportunity to practice and refine your pitching skills. Receive constructive feedback and guidance from experienced mentor.
• Interactive Discussion: Gain insights from the expert who will share his experiences and tips for effective pitching in academic and professional settings.
