UP-NIH Neuroscience Seminar Series (Gut Feelings: The Microbiome as a Regulator of Brain & Behaviour)

The Neuroscience Seminar Series is back!

This coming November 19, 2024 (Tuesday) at 3:00 PM via Zoom, we will be conducting another neuroscience seminar with our distinguished invited guest, John Cryan, PhD – Professor & Chair Dept. of Anatomy & Neuroscience, University College Cork, Vice President for Research & Innovation (2021) at the University College Cork, Principal Investigator at the APC Microbiome Institute, Senior Editor of Neuropharmacology and of Neurobiology of Stress, Past-President of the European Behavioural Pharmacology Society. Dr. Cryan will be sharing his expertise in research through his talk entitled “Gut Feelings: The Microbiome as a Regulator of Brain & Behaviour”.

The UP-NIH Neuroscience Seminar Series is a unique opportunity to engage and introduce the different fields of neuroscience from expert neuroscientists around the globe. A lecture will be conducted by the invited speaker and there will be an opportunity for the graduate students to interact with the speaker after the lecture. This event promises to be an insightful and engaging experience to introduce the field of neuroscience research.
