Beyond Time and Space marks Giacomo Puccini’s centennial death anniversary with a performance of his monumental Messa di Gloria together with the UPSO Symphonic Chorus, tenor Ervin Lumauag, and baritone Raymond Leslie Diaz. The program will also feature National Artist for Music Dr. Ramon Santos’ Penomenon, Richard Wagner’s Ride of Valkyries, and Olivier Messiaen’s Les Offrandes Oubliées. UPSO will perform under the baton of Maestro Josefino Chino Toledo.
It will be an evening of music that explores music, beliefs, and customs that have surpassed the tests of time and space.
Tickets are priced at p2,000 (Orchestra), p1,000 (Balcony 1), and p800 (Balcony 2), with a 20% discount available for Seniors, PWDs, and current UP Employees and 50% off for students with valid ID. A portion of ticket sales will be donated to the UP College of Music Alumni Association’s MusiKalinga scholarship fund.
