DOST-PCHRD BALIK-SCIENTIST PROGRAM EXIT REPORT PRESENTATION
It is with great pleasure and honor that we invite you to the Exit Report Presentation of DOST Balik-Scientist Dr. Ailyn F. Fadriquela, entitled “My (Scientific ) Way Back Home: Setting a Niche of Biomedical Research on the North”. This event is scheduled to take place on February 29, 2024, from 9:00 AM to 12:00 NN via Zoom.
The Balik Scientist Program (BSP) is a vital initiative aimed at promoting information exchange and accelerating the flow of new technology into our country. The program’s primary objective is to encourage Filipino scientists to return and reside in the Philippines, sharing their expertise for the benefit of our nation. The Exit Report Presentation will provide an overview of Dr. Fadriquela’s work and achievements, the outcomes of her 6-month stay with UP Baguio as a Balik Scientist (July 1, 2023 – January 13, 2024), and the impact of her expertise on our local scientific community.
The event will be hosted by the Department of Biology, University of the Philippines Baguio, in collaboration with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD).
