Violinist Dr. Yin-Chou Daniel Hung earned a doctoral degree in violin performance at the Eastman School of Music.
Dr. Hung studied with the legendary Ukrainian violinist Oleh Krysa, the winner of Tschaikovsky, Paganini, Montreal, and Winieawski international violin competitions, and served as his teaching assistant for six years. He holds Doctoral and Master’s degrees at the Eastman School in Violin Performance.
Michelle Nicolasora, an Assistant Professor 3 at the UP College of Music’s Keyboard Department, holds a Doctor of Musical Arts in Collaborative Piano from the University of Memphis, a Master of Music in Piano Performance, and a Bachelor of Music in Piano Performance from the University of the Philippines. She has taught at the Asian Institute for Liturgy and Music and St. Paul University College of Music and Performing Arts. As a former staff pianist for the UP Voice, Music Theater, and Dance Department and a member of the Lozada Piano Trio, Michelle regularly assists students in recitals, auditions, and competitions and collaborates with various performers.
