A Post-Election Forum on the Next Chapter of Bangsamoro Governance

The votes are in. What’s next for BARMM after their first Parliamentary Elections?

Over the years, the Bangsamoro Autonomous Region of Muslim Mindanao (BARMM) has continuously worked towards self-governance. This finally materialized on September 14, 2026, marking the region’s first-ever parliamentary elections.

Change in Session? A Post-Election Forum on the Next Chapter of Bangsamoro Governance aims to unpack the pieces of history that shaped this momentous election, its implications for the Bangsamoro peace process, and its impact on the broader nation.

The forum shall dive deeper into the election’s significance to democratic governance, representation, and accountability with a panel of experts from the academe, the media, and civil society:
