UP SURP virtual Public Lecture Series (v-PuLSe)

The UP School of Urban and Regional Planning is pleased to announce the upcoming virtual Public Lecture Series (v-PuLSe) on 23 October 2026 (Friday), from 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM. The event will be conducted online, via Zoom.

With the theme, “From Risk to Resilience: Innovative and Evidence-based Approaches to Building Resilient Communities,” this year’s v-PuLSe will focus on innovative solutions and evidence-based approaches to disaster risk reduction, climate adaptation, and resilience-building. With interconnected risks arising from natural hazards, climate change, rapid urbanization, environmental degradation, and disruptions to critical systems and services, building resilient communities will require adopting proactive approaches aimed at understanding risk, reducing vulnerability, strengthening adaptive capacities, and building resilience.
