UP achieves 100% passing rate in the recent Architecture Licensure Examination

Twenty-six examinees from UP Diliman and 11 examinees from UP Mindanao achieved a 100 percent passing rate in the January 2024 Licensure Examination for Architects given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) on January 24 and 26, 2024.

Four graduates from UP Diliman entered the top 10 list: Kryzia Maryzela Villaver Medina placed third with a score of 84.70 percent. Andrew John Pagkatipunan Reyes placed seventh with a score of 83.60 percent. Placing ninth and tenth in the list, respectively, are Chester Neil Dichoso Cunanan, with a score of 83.20 percent, and Angela Beatrice Lagunilla Badiola, who scored 82.90 percent.

The PRC released the results three working days after the last day of examination.

UP Manila November 2023 Speech-Language Pathology Licensure Examination Topnotchers

The College of Allied Medical Professions is proud to announce that all 141 examinees from UP Manila passed the FIRST EVER SPEECH-LANGUAGE PATHOLOGY LICENSURE EXAMINATION held on November 13 and 14, 2023.

With a passing rate of 100%, UP Manila is among the top-performing schools.

Among the 59 top notchers, 35 (59%) are graduates of our BS Speech Pathology program.

Occupying the lone spot as top 1 is our faculty member, Ms. Pristine Ellise T. Chua.

This historical achievement is a reflection of the UP community’s commitment to excellence and high-quality health care for Filipinos.

UP Los Baños grad tops Civil Engineer licensure exams

A graduate from the University of the Philippines Los Baños campus (UPLB) topped the November 2022 Civil Engineer Licensure Examination, the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) announced.

Carl Jervin Rivera Magtira gained a percentage rating of 95.00, the highest among 8,029 who successfully hurdled the exams.

The rest of the Top 10 highest scorers are the following:



Meanwhile, the PRC also announced the top performing schools, these are:

  • University of the Philippines – Diliman
  • University of the Philippines – Los Baños
  • Surigao del Sur State University – Main Campus
  • Carlos A. Hilado Memorial State College – Talisay
  • De La Salle University – Manila

UP Diliman grad tops interior designer licensure exam

A graduate of the University of the Philippines Diliman topped the interior designer licensure examination given by the Professional Regulation Commission (PRC) this month.

Ira Louise Cayanan led the successful examinees with a rating of 88.25%.

Patrick Joshua Uy of the University of Santo Tomas placed second with 86.85%, followed by Ma. Patrisha Casalme of the Polytechnic University of the Philippines with 86.50%.

Racquel Christine Lim of UP is in fourth place (86.40%), followed by Lara Mindy Villaluz of the Philippine School of Interior Design (85.40%).

The PRC said 266 out of 405 examinees passed the test given by the Board of Interior Design in Manila and Cebu.

UP Diliman was named the lone top performing school, with 26 out of its 28 examinees (92.86%) passing the exam. —Mel Matthew Doctor/VBL/BM, GMA News
