The UP Padayon Public Service Office is once again cordially inviting you, fellow faculty members, and REPS to submit applications to the 3rd Public Service Writing Fellowship from May 7 until May 31, 2021. The application packet may be downloaded from http://bit.ly/3rdPSWF-App.
As a regular program of UP Padayon, the Fellowship is a means to encourage UP faculty and REPS to document their public service initiatives in order to expand the scholarship of public service, especially in face of the challenges of the pandemic. A strong and healthy research culture in public service and extension will help the University fulfill its mandate and bring its services closer to its beneficiaries, institutional partners, and stakeholders. In this regard, successful Fellows will be participating in a virtual Writeshop on July 22-23, 2021 to help develop their public service and extension research.
Applications must be endorsed by your unit head, dean or vice chancellor, and the Member of the System Committee on Public Service Monitoring and Reporting for your CU. Please find attached for your perusal the official poster, the Fellowship Guidelines, and the Application Form.
