The Bamboo Organ Festival Masterclass

The University of the Philippines College of Music once again partners with the Las Piñas International Bamboo Organ Festival for a morning of free masterclasses and lectures led by distinguished guest artists of this year’s festival.

Happening on February 18 (10am to 1230pm) at the UP College of Music, the event will feature the following sessions:
• Toshiyuki Shibata — flute masterclass
• Dr. Eudenice Palaruan — conducting and vocal performance practice of villancicos
• Andrés Cea Galán — lecture on Spanish organ music

This collaborative program offers students, educators, and performers a rare opportunity to engage with internationally acclaimed artists and deepen their musical and pedagogical insights into early music.

Admission is free and open to the public.
