Join the UP Diliman (UPD) Artificial Intelligence Program’s “Distinguished Speaker Seminar” on April 16, Thursday, 3:30–5:30 p.m., at the ADI Software Innovation Hub, UPD Electrical and Electronics Engineering Institute Building and via Zoom.
The resource speaker is Anton Van Den Hengel, PhD, chief scientist of the Australian Institute of Machine Learning (AIML) and director of the AIML Center for Augmented Reasoning.
He will discuss the topic “On the Evolution of Stochastic Parrots: On Why the Prevailing Process of Pushing Increasingly Large Datasets Through Increasingly Large Computers Won’t Lead to AGI.”
