“Applications of Advanced HPTLC in Standardizing and Authenticating Natural Products”

The Institute of Herbal Medicine (IHM), National Institutes of Health, University of the Philippines Manila, in partnership with the Department of Science and Technology – Philippine Council for Health Research and Development (DOST-PCHRD), through the Balik Scientist Program, warmly invites you to the Exit Seminar Presentation of Balik Scientist Dr. Ivan Lawag on April 25, 2025, from 1:30 PM to 4:00 PM at the NIH Conference Room, 1st Floor, NIH Building, UP Manila, and via Zoom.

Dr. Lawag will present a technical lecture titled “Applications of Advanced HPTLC in Standardizing and Authenticating Natural Products,” highlighting the use of high-performance thin-layer chromatography (HPTLC) in analyzing secondary metabolites and authenticating natural products, along with key accomplishments from his six-month engagement with IHM.
