Gemino Abad Seminar-Workshop for Teachers 2025

Likhaan: UP Institute of Creative Writing presents the Gemino Abad Seminar-Workshop for Teachers 2025, with the theme “RHYTHM n BOTS: Teaching Lit in the time of AI – Poetry, Prose, and Prompt.”

The seminar-workshop is a three-day event that seeks to confront the contradictions, challenges, and trajectories of teaching literature and creative writing in the Philippines during a period of rapid progress in the fields of generative artificial intelligence and large language models. Aside from lectures and seminars, participants will have the opportuniy to engage in practical workshops and converse with scholars and experts from diverse fields.

The Gemino Abad Seminar-Workshop for Teachers will be held at the University Hotel, UP Diliman, on October 27-29, 2025.
