Responsible Media Forum: The One with Ethical Conversations

The students of UP Diliman College of Media and Communication taking the course Communication 110 TRV (Communication and Media Ethics) under Prof. Anne Mallari are pleased to invite everyone to their upcoming event, Responsible Media Forum: The One with Ethical Conversations, scheduled on April 28, 2026 from 8:00 am to 11:00 am to be held at the CMC Auditorium, UP Diliman.

This event is open to all.

This forum aims to expand audiences’ knowledge regarding ethical responsibilities in film and other communication fields, encourage students to reflect on how media institutions influence what is seen, remembered, and valued, and promote accountability and integrity among future media practitioners.

The forum will feature two distinguished guest speakers: Prof. Katrina Ross Tan and Prof. Rosemarie Roque, who will share some of their insights and experiences regarding ethics in film archiving and preservation as well as ethics in film production and criticism.
