Attention UPV constituents and alumni:
Please exercise extra prudence in responding to requests for financial assistance made online. A number of UPV alumni have been victimized recently and, this morning, the Office of the Chancellor has received a formal report of a hacking incident involving a private account of one of our employees and victimizing UPV students and fresh graduates. We will be formally seeking the assistance of the National Bureau of Investigation (NBI) even as we are presently studying other ways of responding to this problem.
